"the future lies sleeping under loads of rubble and debris" Since the downfall of the twin towers in 2001 the two words "rubble" and "debris" that me as German has never heard before remained ringing in my ears and each time I think of urban life as the central dispositif of modern being I cannot avoid to think of the sensitive balance of powers that keeps this huge leviathan of what is called "the city" under control and how easy this balance can be destroyed. I wanted to try a crossover of the murmuring cacophony that the original soundtrack of "Solaris" yet describes and the silence that developed directly after the breakdown of the WTC, that carried grief, but also a promise of a new beginning in itself, a promise, that 20 years before was already pointed at by Blixa Bargeld and his band "Collapsing New Buildings", and that has been thrown away for the opportunity of an imperial war by Bush and company, who preferred to team up with terrorists in choice of their instruments instead of pleading for a memorable dialogue of cultures that a city like New York always was a symbol for. The complete track in the clean version uploaded by Eloy Anzola has been recorded through a battery of effects starting with a 16-band vocoder, adding some delay and finally using the dfx geometer for creating a floor of noise corresponding with the original file. Finally portions of pluggo "harmonic dreams" synthesizer has been dubbed in.
